Web Application for Suctions, Companies Search and Evaluation

This Bachelor's Thesis deals with creation of information systems. The aim of this project was to create a usable web portal for auctions, company search and evaluation. This paper contains a detailed analysis on requirements, the main concept and implementation of the solution. In this thesis I also present how can developers benefit from the usage of spiral model of software development. The system was implemented by the following technologies: C#, ASP .NET, LINQ, object-relational mapping and JavaScript.

The master thesis focuses on more efficient application of Scrum methodology in a development team within specific company. The thesis takes an advantage from the SW-CMM philosophy applied in agile environment in order to achieve better effectivity. Theorethical base is utilized for a comparison with current state in the company described in analytical part. Proposals for a solution of current situation are based on drawback detection. Proposals are subject for risk analysis followed by precaution. Costs of proposals implementation with included precautions are evaluated in economic evaluation part. This part also contains benefits of proposals.

Java Performance Testing For The Masses

Java is a major platform for performance sensitive applications. Unit testing of functionality has already become a common practice in software devel- opment; however, the amount of projects employing performance tests is substantially lower. A comprehensive study in combination with a short sur- vey among developers is made in order to examine the current situation in open-source projects written in Java. Results show that suitable tools for measurements exist, but they are hard to use or the outputs are difficult to understand. To improve the situation in favor of performance evaluation a set of user friendly tools for collecting, comparing and visualizing the data is designed, implemented, and verified on a sample Java project. 1

The goal of the bachelor´s thesis is to mention the keystones and best practices of an object-oriented design and development of software. The thesis focuses on selected software design principles, which serve as a guide to those who want to avoid problems caused by a poor design of code. In addition, the thesis explains important nomenclature related to the subject matter. To give an example of how to use the OOP design patterns and best practices, the thesis also includes one use case - a working C# application developed in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 environment.

Software testing in agile projects

This bachelor thesis describes the software testing process in agile projects and suggests several improvements in the MMSP methodology (Methodology for small software projects). In the theoretical part of the thesis there are mentioned basic terms and practices in the field of software testing, there is also a description of agile development and agile testing in general and the part also contains an introduction to MMSP methodology. In the practical part of the thesis, a referential business is presented along with the problems that are connected with internal testing processes. In the end of this thesis there are several improvements to the MMSP methodology suggested and evaluated.

Usage of UML models at design an order system

The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is the most-used graphic specification. It shows not only application structure, behavior, and architecture, but also business process and data structure. UML also provides unification of every step of development and integration from business modeling, through architectural and application modeling, to development, deployment, maintenance, and evolution. The target of this thesis is the description of UML and its usage in software development process. UML helps to inscribe the process, the software application and make the communication in development group easier. The big advantage of UML is the opportunity of using computer-aided software engineering for generating source code from UML models. It saves a lot of work with manual typing code, making documentation and deploying the application.
